Our Story

Millichamp was formed in 2025 when we decided to form a band instead of going it alone in a brutal music industry. Between the two of us, there’s a couple of decades of songwriting, touring, and playing experience. This helps us DIY everything; from the songs to social media to booking our tours, everything runs through one of us two. This can mean we can disagree over many topics, however, it always comes back to “What’s best for the band?” and, more recently… “What’s best for the fans?” ♥

We both learned our instruments from a young age (around 6 years old) and have been daydreaming of playing on stages around the world this whole time. Now that it’s less of a dream and more of a reality, we are more excited and eager than ever to release and record new music and content.

Our influences vary within the indie/pop genres, pulling from both mainstream and alternative artists like Sam Fender, Harry Styles, and Paolo Nutini to name a few.

This means that any Millichamp song, whilst being written, can take an unexpected turn at any moment—which makes the songwriting process very exciting. Influences also matter when making decisions such as where and how to tour, what sort of live show we make, what type of merch there will be, or even how the content should look. Whoever it may be, it all comes from a ‘By the people, for the People’ narrative which we believe is very important in live music.

Alongside all the aspects of the DIY indie-pop scene, we grew up on the south coast of the UK, where there are very few artists in comparison to the rest of the country. We love the calm seaside mindset and hometown shows are always special. However, we are fairly sure that our happy place is out on the road, touring new cities and meeting amazing new people. Some of these people even like our music, which is soooo cool, and we hope you do too!

Thanks for reading a little bit about us and we hope you enjoyed our TED Talk…
